I went to NolaKorea twice during my 4 day Mardi Gras trip in New Orleans, and it was amazing both times. The food tasted just like authentic Korean food back home, maybe even better! The staff and the welcoming atmosphere made the experience even more special. Thanks James and Sammie!

So good! We got the pork belly, katsu, and seafood pancake. All delicious! And we ordered too much for just two people but I'm never mad about leftovers. The many side dishes were delicious too. Can't do wit to go back and try more things!

SO delicious! We had their gimbap and I had the grilled pork belly. I’d come here again tomorrow if I could. It’s a small place so there is limited seating but it tasted AMAZING and they were so nice. 10 stars

Their beef ramen was 10/10! The bibimbap was also delicious, I’d ask for sautéed mushrooms next time (it’s uncooked by default). Overall, it’s a chill spot and I highly recommend it if you want some authentic Korean food in a relaxed environment.

The Korean food here is so delicious! I tried their Dolsot Bibimbap ($14.49), which is basically a Korean dish mixed with rice, beef, spinach, carrots, cucumbers, bean sprouts, radish, lettuce, and a fried egg on the top that’s all served in a hot stove pot with the option of a chili house sauce. You’d have to mix every ingredient in the pot with a metal spoon before eating it (which is not hard), and once I mixed it, my mouth was introduced with a diverse pack of fresh and hot flavors. The hot stove pot made this dish really sizzle. In other words, it tasted really good! This dish also came with mini appetizers beforehand, such as fried tofu, sweet & sour potatoes, spicy cucumbers, and kimchi. They were good too, but the main dish really caught my full attention! For drinks, I just got water. I didn’t have to ask to order water they just offered it to me. With sales tax ($1.33) the total came out to be $15.82. For the Quality of the food the price isn’t bad at all. The service was also good. They weren’t very talkative and cheerful once I came in, but they were still nice and patient overall. The restaurant was clean as well. Something I would critique, however, is the decor and spacing of the restaurant itself: The decor looked a bit dull. I wish that it was more colorful on both the outside and inside because I initially missed the restaurant since it looked like an empty building instead of an actual establishment. As for the spacing inside, the seats are a bit limited, but I can’t blame that all on the owners and should it more on the builders of the building instead. I hope that they can make the decor more nice in the future to attract more customers. Aside from that, I was still satisfied with my time at NOLA Korea. I would definitely come back for their delicious food!

Delicious Korean food with a filling lunch special. The chef sides were delicious and surprisingly sweet, offering a good variety to complement the entrees. Very busy over lunch to the point where people where turned away since it closes at 2pm before reopening for dinner.

I’m so glad I took the negative reviews with a grain of salt. This place seems like a non flashy, mom & pop place. It’s tiny with only a few tables. It seemed like one person was working the front and one cooking. It was amazing Korean food!I had the Japchae and jeyuk-bokkeum (spicy pork). I order this same pork dish at virtually every Korean spot I go to and this ranked with the best I’ve had. Don’t bring a lot of folks in your party. They likely can’t handle the hit and guarantee quality.
